This week, the U.S. Department of State released the 2023 International Religious Freedom report.
Since the International Religious Freedom Act of 1998 was passed into law in the United States, throughout the past 26 years, the annual Religious Freedom report has provided governments and legislators, human rights advocates, religious communities, and citizens a tool to better understand the religious freedom situation in their own countries and other places around the world.
