Le Bureau du Commissaire Électoral a émis un communiqué concernant les conditions que les éventuels candidats devront remplir lors du Nomination day qui aura lieu le 11 juillet 2024 à Bel Air SSS.

CONSTITUENCY NO. 10 – MONTAGNE BLANCHE AND GRAND RIVER SOUTH EAST
SYMBOLS OF IDENTIFICATION
Any prospective candidate to the forthcoming National Assembly By-Election in Constituency No.10 – Montagne Blanche and Grand River South East, who wishes to be allotted the symbol of identification of the party or party alliance to which he/she belongs, is requested to produce, when submitting his/her nomination paper to the Returning Officer on Nomination Day, 11 July 2024, a certificate signed by
(i) the president or secretary of the party; or
(ii) the respective president or secretary of each party constituting the party alliance,
to certify that he/she belongs to that party or party alliance and that he/she is authorised to use the symbol of identification of that party or party alliance for the said by-election.
It is also brought to the attention of all independent candidates that the Office of the Election Commissioner has compiled an official list of symbols of identification for their use. This official list may be consulted at the Nomination Centre, BEL AIR STATE SECONDARY SCHOOL, La Lucie Bldg., Bel Air Rivière Sèche, on Nomination Day, 11 July 2024.
However, if a candidate prefers to use a symbol of identification, not appearing on that official list, h/she shall, when submitting his nomination paper to the Returning Officer, also submit a line drawing of the symbol of identification of his/her choice in black colour on a white background to fit within a space of 20mm x 15mm.
