Ceridian HCM Holding Inc., a prominent global leader in human capital management (HCM) technology, has announced a significant rebranding initiative. The company will transition to the name « Dayforce » effective January 2024, further solidifying its position as the premier global people platform.
The decision to shift the company’s brand to Dayforce comes as a strategic move to amplify growth and solidify its standing in the cloud HCM market. Dayforce, the company’s flagship HCM platform, has a distinguished track record of innovation and excellence, serving thousands of organizations and millions of workers worldwide. Renowned for its ability to « Make Work Life Better™, » Dayforce aims to elevate its brand promise through innovative solutions and world-class customer experiences.
The announcement was unveiled at INSIGHTS 2023, Ceridian’s annual customer conference held in Las Vegas, with a virtual audience in attendance. The conference theme, « A Brand New Dayforce, » underlines the company’s commitment to transformation and enhancement.
David Ossip, Chair and Co-CEO of Ceridian, expressed, « Dayforce represents our products, company, and community at their best, so it is only fitting that we are doubling down on the brand as we look to accelerate our growth as the go-to global people platform. »
Leagh Turner, Co-CEO of Ceridian, emphasized the significance of the change, stating, « This moment is so much more than a brand change. Ceridian’s journey to become Dayforce dates back to 2012 when Ceridian acquired Dayforce Corporation, which developed the cloud HCM solution. Following a successful IPO in 2018, Ceridian embarked on a path of expansion and innovation. The rebranding process, expected to be completed throughout 2024, will align all global operating entities with the Dayforce brand, with no anticipated impact on fiscal year 2023 guidance.
The company has released additional resources for customers and stakeholders, including a video titled « It’s a Brand New Dayforce, » a blog post from Chief Marketing and Communications Officer Eric Glass, and an FAQ section titled « FAQ: Ceridian to Become Dayforce. »
Dayforce, the newly unified brand, will continue to empower organizations to optimize the employee lifecycle, including human resources, payroll, benefits, workforce management, and talent management functionalities.
