The Campus Abroad Annual International Education Fair 2023 is considered a pioneer in the field of facilitating tertiary education in Mauritius. This year, the event will be launched at the Bagatelle Motor City on 23 November 2023, followed by a joint Thanksgiving dinner with the American Chamber of Commerce.
The Fair itself will be held at the Hennessy Park Hotel, Ebene on Friday, 24 November, and Saturday, 25 November, from 10 am to 5 pm.
An incredible record-spanning number of institutions, totalling 70 in all, from countries like Australia, Canada, Dubai, United Kingdom, Netherlands, France, Spain, Hungary, USA, India, China and Mauritius, are expected to participate in the Fair. These will comprise both Universities and Institutions of Higher Learning from the countries concerned.
One of the highlights of the event is an information counter dedicated to online learning opportunities for working professionals. Post graduate courses from some of the leading universities in the world are on offer at affordable prices.
Campus Abroad believes and is armed with this mission statement that education is the cornerstone of personal and societal growth. It equips individuals with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities needed to thrive in an ever-evolving world. However, with the vast array of educational institutions and programmes available today, choosing the right path can be a daunting task. This is where education fairs come into play, serving as invaluable platforms for both students and educational institutions and offering a multitude of benefits that extend far beyond what meets the eye.
Campus Abroad Mauritius Ltd’s Director Jayasankar Seshadri notes:
“We are thrilled to have the US Ambassador to Mauritius, Mr Henry V. Jardine, with us on the occasion of launching our International Education Fair, which has become a bellwether for the tertiary education sector in Mauritius. On this Thanksgiving, it is good to reflect on the value of education and the true wealth that it represents for a nation. The right education can set up a person for life, being a passport to a better way of living and a key tool for positive change in the world.”
Meanwhile, Campus Abroad’s co-founder and director Rajeshwari Jayasankar adds:
“The philosophy, ‘Children matter, but their goals, dreams, and future matter more’ is central to our efforts. Herein lies the rationale behind holding education fairs since we truly believe in increasing access in terms of resources to students by supporting them in their quest to make informed decisions about their career.”
Mr Jayasankar Seshadri concludes on the note that the event will provide an invaluable opportunity for students to meet with representatives from tertiary education institutions and understand how to put in place the crucial visa and travel arrangements that are necessary to make their higher education dreams come alive.
