Des fortes houles venant du sud-ouest, influençeront la haute mer sur les Mascareignes à partir de ce soir. Des houles de l’ordre de 4 mètres sont prévues à partir de tôt demain matin, dimanche 14 Avril 2024.

De ce fait, la haute mer deviendra très forte. Ces houles pourraient se déferler dans les régions côtières à basse altitude, surtout à l’ouest et au sud, à l’heure des marées hautes.
Il est fortement conseillé aux pêcheurs, aux plaisanciers et au public en général de ne pas sortir en mer et de ne pas s’aventurer sur ces plages.

High energy swells coming from the South-West will influence the open sea over the Mascarenes as from tonight. Swells of the order of 4 metres are expected as from early tomorrow morning, Sunday 14 April 2024.
As a result, the open sea will become very rough. These heavy swells may break along the low-lying coastal areas, mainly to the West and South, especially during high tides.
Fishermen, pleasure-craft users and the public in general are strongly advised not to go out at sea and not to venture along those beaches.
