After successful talks earlier this year, the BKC Junior driver Monde Jnr KONINI is joining MFT to become part of its academy.
Monde Jnr KONINI started Karting at the age of 7 in the Bambino class. In hist first season he won the BKC British Championship, and finished runner-up in the MSA British Championship. Funny fact Monde Jnr was a F1 grid kid for Carlos Sainz at British F1 GP.
Concerning his last news 2023 was a good step up with the Motorsport UK British Kart Championship and the LGM series. In those championships he finished 9th and 5th respectively, both championships had grids of over 50 competitors.
In 2024
• At the start of this year the governing body of British motorsport ‘Motorsport UK’ selected him to be part of their Futures Academy.
• Monde Jnr is one of 20 drivers chosen from hundreds of applicants to be part of the Futures Year 1 Academy.
• The Futures Academy works with Porsche human performance and Hintsa Performance to educate drivers on all aspects of Motorsport.
