Joe Lesjongard va présenter son projet de loi qui va gérer le secteur d’eau dans le pays lors de la séance parlementaire du 2 juillet 2024.
The main object of this Bill is to –
(a)provide a legal framework for the use, management, control,protection, conservation, and sustainable development of waterresources in Mauritius;
(b)safeguard the immediate and long-term public interest for anequitable access to water;
(c)ensure water security and resilience;
(d)establish a Water Resources Commission;
(e)promote the efficient use of water;
(f)make provision for, and in connection with, matters incidental andconnected thereto.
