Talent Lab, one of the leading HR management companies in Mauritius, is pleased to announce its upcoming 9th Edition of HR Café, in partnership with Nespresso, taking place on the 27th of July 2024 at Middlesex University Mauritius, Coastal Road, Flic en Flac.

Since its launch in August 2021, HR Café has rapidly evolved into a vibrant platform for employers, business owners, HR enthusiasts, leaders, researchers, entrepreneurs, and forward-thinking individuals. It serves as a space for engaging discussions and debates on current people-related subjects. Our goal is to promote knowledge exchange and encourage collaboration within the business community.

During our previous edition, we delved into the critical topic of « Organisational Preparedness for AI and the Future of Work, » where we explored the strategic readiness of companies to adapt and thrive in an environment increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence (AI) and evolving work dynamics. This edition analyzed the integration of AI in business, highlighting the importance of human skills alongside AI, and the challenges organisations might face when introducing AI at the workplace.

Now, for the 9th edition, we will examine « Stability in a Shifting Land scape: Maintaining Organisational Culture and Performance in an Evolving Workforce. » As we navigate a VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous) world, organizations must rethink their strategies to keep their workforce agile and resilient. This discussion will focus on the challenges and strategies for maintaining a stable organizational culture and high performance amidst constant change and evolving human dynamics.

The panel will consist of five esteemed experts, meticulously chosen for their practical knowledge and proficiency within their specific areas of business. Each panellist offers distinctive perspectives on the strategic initiatives implemented within their organizations and will impart their valuable observations on the theme.

The panellists are Professor Mari Jansen Van Rensburg from Middlesex University Mauritius, Sandesh Mohabir from CIEL Textile, Shyama Soondur from ENL Group, Kapish Gya from Talent Enabler, and Anouchka Sooriamoorthy from In the Chaos World.
