Malaysia Airlines and Air Mauritius broaden connectivity for customers

Malaysia Airlines and Air Mauritius are pleased to announce the reinstatement of codeshare flights between the two carriers, offering travellers with enhanced travel options to explore the captivating beauty of Malaysia, Asia, Australia, Africa and beyond.

Passengers will enjoy seamless travel experiences and benefit from the convenient connections offered from the airlines’ main hubs in KL International Airport Terminal 1 (KUL) and Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport (MRU). By placing their respective flight codes – “MH” for Malaysia Airlines and “MK” for Air Mauritius – on key destinations, the airlines aim to enhance connectivity and convenience for travellers to experience the diverse cultures and cities awaiting to be explored.

Malaysia Airlines customers will enjoy access to a broader network beyond the airline’s current offerings including direct flights from KUL to MRU, where they can soak in the tropical paradise of Mauritius for their next beach holiday, or explore the captivating landscapes of Johannesburg, South Africa (JNB) operated by Air Mauritius.

Meanwhile, Air Mauritius will codeshare on Malaysia Airlines’ domestic flights to destinations including Langkawi, Penang, Kota Bharu, Kuantan, and Johor Bharu, as well as the opportunity to connect to various international destinations from its KUL hub. Whether delving into the cultural gems of Bangkok, Shanghai, Beijing and Hong Kong, venturing to vibrant cities in Singapore, Hanoi, Tokyo and Ho Chi Minh City, or experiencing the allure of Melbourne, Perth, Sydney, and Seoul, passengers will enjoy ample opportunities for exploration and discovery.

Ahmad Luqman Mohd Azmi, Chief Executive Officer of Airlines from Malaysia Aviation Group, said,
