The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) has become aware of a fraudulent Certificate of Character, allegedly having been issued by the Office of the DPP and signed by one of its former law officer.
This matter has been duly reported to the police for investigation. Users of Certificate of Character are therefore requested to exercise the necessary diligence. Should there be any doubts about the authenticity of a Certificate of Character purportedly from, or on behalf of the Office of the DPP and/or its officials, users are requested to call at the Certificate of Character Office for verification.
