Leading ESG business, Holtara, has appointed Yovanka Bylander Arroyo as its new Global Chief commercial Officer and Head of Americas. Based in New York, Yovanka will drive Holtara’s global growth and client success strategies, including expansion into new client segments and geographies. In her role as Head of Americas, Yovanka will specifically focus on growth and client success for that region.
The appointment marks yet another milestone reached since Holtara launched earlier this year, leading the industry in ESG solutions. It already supports over 400 GPs and LPs worldwide companies through a combination of people and platform powered solutions.

Holtara is a subsidiary arm of financial service provider, Apex Group, known for its single-source solution for asset managers, and one of the first in the industry to launch a private capital ESG solution in 2019.

Prior to joining Holtara on 8 May 2024, Yovanka was Head of Sustainability at TimesSquare Capital, where, as a member of the investment team, she launched the firm’s ESG integration program. Yovanka’s work in the sustainability field began in 2011, when she joined ISS (Institutional Shareholder Services). Her most recent role there was Global Head of ESG Client Success.
Before joining ISS, Yovanka was Acting CEO of Hawkstone Capital LLC, a $200 million European long/short fund. Prior to Hawkstone, she was an award-winning equity analyst, covering Latin American and European bank stocks at Fox-Pitt, Kelton and Morgan Stanley. She started her career as a credit rating analyst.
Yovanka is a member of the Latin Corporate Directors Association (LCDA), and is on the Advisory Board of VTernal, a sustainable cloud computing solution. She is also on the Advisory Board of the Citizens Committee for New York City, and the Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) and Student Sponsor Partners.
