Le Maroc est un hub essentiel pour les transferts d’argent. En 2023, le pays a reçu environ 12 milliards de dollars de flux entrants, ce qui en fait le troisième plus grand marché en Afrique. Ces fonds représentent une source de revenus vitale pour nombreuses familles marocaines et constituent un élément essentiel de l’économie du pays. Les transferts de fonds contribuent à environ 8% du PIB du Maroc.

Western Union today launched its first “concept store” in Morocco, in collaboration with Cash Plus. Located in the satellite city of Errahma, the store offers a unique, Western Union-branded experience to customers as they send and receive money internationally. Remittances contribute approximately 8% to Morocco’s GDP.
