Happy Diabetic is a mobile application launched in November 2018, available for download on the Google Play store for android users. It has been developed by Delormi Technologies, to fulfill the market need for an application specially designed for those who suffer from diabetes.

It offers a way for diabetics to record their blood glucose levels, monitor their recordings and access nonpharmaceutical products, delivered for free at their doorstep.

Happy Diabetic have announced that Happy Diabetic is now accepting payment by Emtel Cash. This will offer a seamless payment system which allows you to pay easily for all your purchases.

Through this partnership with Emtel, we aspire to become one of the digital pioneers who take the island into the digital era on the health front.
There is an increased use of technology, apps and websites by the Mauritian population and they are confident, that in the coming years, an increasing number of purchases will be effected online.

« Our mission is to provide the population with a series of digital solutions aimed at enhancing their quality of life. We hope that Mauritius will embrace this new feature. We aim to be at the forefront of this, more so that Mauritius is now ready to fully embrace this new feature, » said Nadeem Mosafeer, CEO of the Gibson & Hills Group

He added that “We want to contribute in our way to the fight against diabetes in Mauritius. Our beautiful country is sadly known as the diabetes
island, with new cases being identified every day. Our aim is to alleviate the burden of diabetes management for all those affected by this disease, directly or indirectly through Happy Diabetic.”

They will be present at the Emtel showroom in Bagatelle all day on Saturday 27th July to demonstrate the benefits of the application to members of the public.
