Un Avis de fortes houles est en vigueur à Maurice et à Rodrigues

Des houles de forte puissance de l’ordre de 5 mètres venant du Sud-Ouest influencent l’état de la haute mer dans la région de Maurice et Rodrigues.

Ces houles pourraient déferler sur les plages de l’Ouest et du Sud surtout à l’heure des marées hautes.

Il est fortement conseillé aux pécheurs, plaisanciers et au public de ne pas sortir en haute mer ainsi que dans les lagons du Sud et de l’Ouest durant cette période.

A High Wave warning is in force in Mauritius and Rodrigues and will be valid up to 1000 Hours Tuesday 20 August 2019

High energy swells of the order of 5 metres coming from the south west are influencing the state of the open sea in the region of Mauritius and Rodrigues.

These swells may break on the Western and Southern beaches especially at the time of high tides.

It is strongly advised for fishermen, pleasure-craft and the public not to go out in the open seas as well as in the Western and Southern lagoons during this period.
