Construction Price Index for 3rd Quarter 2019

The publication presents a new series of monthly Construction Price Indices for the period October 2018 to September 2019 with first quarter 2018 as base period.

The Construction Price Index went up by 1.0% from 101.6 in the second quarter to 102.6 in the third quarter of 2019, due to an increase in the “Materials” sub-index (1.4%) following price increases of:
(i) block in July (26.2%);
(ii) premixed concrete in July (1.1%) and August (0.7%);
(iii) timber carpentry in July (0.5%);
(iv) tiles and granite in July (0.7%);
(v) paint in July (1.9%) and August (1.5%);
(vi) laminated flooring in September (0.9%).
