Hausse des prix des légumes

La Small Planters Association a publié la liste des prix des légumesu au 29 Novembre 2019 qui indique une hausse de 30 roupies combiné pour la tente de la ménagère au marché.

Selon Mr K Sunghoon :-

Prices have been steadily rising since 3 weeks and the trend will continue in the coming weeks, rainfall deficits followed by high temperature during the last months resulting in low productivity at farm level.

We haven’t included Potato and onion on the list because their availability and price on the market are normally controlled/ recommended by the AMB around R 18/ lb, but a little survey on the stalls shows onion is priced at R25( normal) to R 40( toupi).

28% higher in the case of the table onion, and the onion harvest has ended just 2 months ago. We have a very serious problem
