Estimated an over all damage of 35 to 40 % of fruit bearing plants

The Small Planters Association have indicated that a field assessment by planters in the early morning of 31.12.2019, they have estimated an over all damage of 35 to 40 % of fruit bearing plants.

Most affected Piments, Bringel, Ppmme D’amour, Cotomoli, Thym, Chou, Voem and creepers

Water flooding have been reported in several fields

Threads of fungal infection are very high and presence of less pollinating agents will affect supply on the market in 10 to 12 days. For the time being supply will be same as last week, since the planters will collect vegetables already in the fields.

Advice to consumers; do not buy more than needed for a few days , will help everyone get enough and won’t create an artificial shortage
