Dans le cadre des 55ieme anniversaire de l’accession de Maurice à l’Indépendance à midi le12 mars 1968, le gouvernement va tenter de battre un « Guinness World Record of the World Largest Human Image » dans le stade Anjalay le 24 janvier 2023 avec 7800 étudiants et des officiers du ministère de l’Education, des éléments de la Special Mobile Force et de la MPF.
Cabinet has taken note of the arrangements being made for the breaking of the Guinness World Record of the World Largest Human Image of a waving National flag of the Republic of Mauritius at Anjalay Stadium, Mapou on 24 January 2023.This activity forms part of various activities which would be organised as from January 2023 to celebrate the 55th Anniversary of the Independence of Mauritius. The activity would require the participation of some 7,800 students from 170 secondary schools in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Tertiary Education, Science and Technology, the Special Mobile Force and the Mauritius Police Force.
