Transport Situation at St Hubert

Following representations made in the media regarding operation of buses along Route No. 11 (St Hubert- Mahebourg), the NLTA wishes to reassure the public that constant monitoring along the said route is being carried out.

All buses licensed to operate thereat are adhering to the established timetables and no transport problem has been observed so far.

The NLTA informs the public that Road Transport Inspectors are posted on a daily basis at different regions of the island to ensure that buses are operating according to their respective timetables and conditions attached to their licences.

The public is advised to immediately report any complaint regarding operation of buses to the NLTA so that prompt and appropriate action may be initiated.

Defaulting licensees would be sanctioned and referred to the Disciplinary Committee.
