Flight MK 014 diverted to Cairo due to a medical emergency

Air Mauritius confirms that flight MK 014 on its way to Paris CDG has diverted to Cairo in Egypt on the 14^th March 2023 due to a medical emergency onboard.

Flight MK 014 operated by an Airbus A350-900 aircraft departed from Mauritius at 22:53 local time on Monday 13 March 2023.

First aid was administered to the sick passenger inflight.

Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, the passenger of French nationality was transferred to the hospital for appropriate treatment.

After obtaining clearance from relevant authorities and refueling of the aircraft, flight MK 014 departed from Cairo International Airport at 08:11 local time and is now expected to arrive in Paris-CDG at 11:30 local time today.
