The airmass over our region is moist and unstable, conducive for the formation of active clouds.
Moderate to heavy localised showers with thunderstorms are being observed to the West, Southwest and part of the Central Plateau.
Other clouds coming from the Eastern sector will cause moderate to heavy showers with thunderstorms during the night over the whole island.
There will be water accumulations in certain flood prone areas.
The visibility may be reduced in fog and heavy showers in certain regions.
The public is advised to:
1. remain in safe places and avoid open areas, hikings, sea ventures and sheltering under trees during thunderstorms.
2. avoid places prone to water accumulation.
3. be very cautious on the roads due to reduced visibility.
