Deux documents mauriciens dans le « Memory of the World Register »

Le gouvernement mauricien a pris connaissance d’un communiqué de l’UNESCO qui a indiqué l’organisation a inscrit 64 collections documentaires dans son Memory of the World Register dont le “The Slave Trade and Slavery Records in Mauritius (1721 – 1892) » et “The archival collections on the Bienheureux Père Jacques Désiré Laval – The Apostle of Mauritius”.
Cabinet has taken note that in a Press Release dated 24 May 2023, the UNESCO announced the inscription of 64 documentary collections on its Memory of the World Register, including the following two nominations from Mauritius:
(a) “The Slave Trade and Slavery Records in Mauritius (1721 – 1892)”; and
(b) “The archival collections on the Bienheureux Père Jacques Désiré Laval – The Apostle of Mauritius”
