“This international tournament has given great exposure to the girls. At such young ages, they have experienced a strong competitive level of international football, travelled and had matches in a world class environment. All girls made a big impact on the tour and should now use this momentum to become the nucleus of Mauritius’ women’s future football and hopefully bring more success to the country soon. Above all, I am proud of the girls’ performances and how they have represented the LFCIA. They are already role models at the academy and for all aspiring female players and I am positive that more girls and boys will follow in their footsteps”.
