Application for Certificate of Character

Further to the Communiqué issued on 08 March 2023, the public is hereby informed that the system for application and issuance of Certificate of Character online and at the nearest Divisional Police Headquarters is now operational.

Applicants can proceed with their online application on https:// ecertificateofcharacter.govmu.org.

However, applicants who have applied through the online system on 28 February 2023 as from 13.01hrs to 01 March 2023 are kindly requested to re-submit their online application, should their online system dashboard does not reflect their prior submission. A refund for online unprocessed transactions which will be effectuated in due course.

Applicants who have applied at the District Police Headquarters on the dates mentioned are also requested to re-submit all their documents and receipt of payment at the nearest Divisional Police Headquarters for further processing of their application.
