Leal Group IT Cluster supports the Quatre-Bornes Volleyball Club

Leal Group IT Cluster, comprising of leading and unique companies in the IT industry in Mauritius, Reunion Island and France, announced on, the 10th APreil 2023, that it has symbolically donated Rs 100,000 to the Quatre-Bornes Volleyball Club: Women’s Team, who are not only aspiring but also striving to participate in the Africa Volleyball Club Championships 2023 to be held in Tunisia, from 13 to 26 May 2023.

This contribution was initiated in a spirit of national solidarity towards a group of sports women who have excelled so far and are at the doorsteps of African Volleyball Club Championship. Through this, the cluster aims to enable this Team to exceed their limits and shine at African level.

“We believe in promoting sports as a means of fostering a healthy lifestyle and empowering men and women to achieve their full potential. We hope that this contribution will assist the team in achieving their goal of participating in the championship. We wish them all the very best for the upcoming tournament and hope that our action inspires other companies in Mauritius to join us in supporting this noble initiative”, said Neemalen Gopal, Managing Director of the IT Cluster.

The cheque was presented to the captain of the team, Alison Labour, and other accompanying members of the volleyball club on Wednesday, 19 April 2023, by Vincent Bourelly (COO of Elytis), and Atma Narasiah (COO of Leal Communications and Informatics Ltd).

Le cluster informatique du groupe Leal, composé de sociétés uniques et leader sur la scène informatique à Maurice, à la Réunion et ainsi qu’en France, a annoncé aujourd’hui qu’il a symboliquement donné Rs 100 000 au Club de Volleyball de Quatre-Bornes: l’équipe féminine qui n’aspire pas seulement à participer au Championnat d’Afrique des clubs de volley-ball 2023 qui se tiendra en Tunisie du 13 au 26 mai 2023, mais qui s’efforce également à y parvenir.

Cette contribution a été initiée dans un esprit de solidarité nationale envers un groupe de femmes sportives qui se sont distinguées et excellées jusqu’à présent et qui sont aux portes du Championnat d’Afrique des clubs de volley-ball. Grâce à cette contribution, le cluster vise à permettre à cette équipe de dépasser ses limites et de briller au niveau africain.

« Nous croyons en la promotion du sport comme moyen de favoriser un mode de vie sain et de permettre aux hommes et aux femmes de réaliser leur plein potentiel. Nous espérons que cette contribution aidera l’équipe à atteindre son objectif de participer au championnat. Nous leur souhaitons le meilleur pour le tournoi à venir et espérons que notre action inspirera d’autres entreprises mauriciennes à se joindre à nous pour soutenir cette noble initiative », a déclaré Neemalen Gopal, directeur général de l’IT Cluster.

Le chèque a été remis à la capitaine de l’équipe, Alison Labour, et aux autres membres de l’équipe du club de volley-ball le mercredi 19 avril 2023, par Vincent Bourelly (COO d’Elytis), et Atma Narasiah (COO de Leal Communications and Informatics Ltd).
