La huitième édition du Festival International de Kitesurf qui se tiendra à Rodrigues du 26 au 30 juillet 2023 s’annonce riche en émotions et en surprises.
En effet, la marraine initialement prévue, Bruna Kajiya, a dû annuler sa participation en raison de sa participation à une compétition de haut niveau dont les dates coïncident avec le festival.
Cependant, la Rodrigues Kitesurfing Association, l’initiateur du projet, a trouvé une remplaçante de choix en la personne de la Néerlandaise Jalou Langeree, triple championne du monde de kitesurf. Elle sera accompagnée de Catharina Edin, la Suédoise qui a remporté deux médailles de bronze au Championnat du Monde de Kitesurf. Ensemble, elles apporteront leur expertise et leur passion pour le kitesurf à cet événement majeur.
En outre, nous sommes heureux d’annoncer que Louka Pitot, le Franco-Mauricien qui a remporté quatre fois le Championnat de France de Kitesurf et qui s’est classé sixième mondial, sera le parrain de cette édition. Son expérience et sa maîtrise de ce sport spectaculaire en feront un ambassadeur de choix pour le Festival International de Kitesurf.
Le Festival International de Kitesurf de Rodrigues est devenu un événement incontournable pour les amateurs de kitesurf, les professionnels et les passionnés du monde entier. Cette année encore, il offrira une occasion unique de découvrir les dernières tendances en matière de kitesurf, de rencontrer des athlètes de renommée mondiale et de participer à des compétitions de haut niveau.

The eighth edition of the International Kitesurfing Festival, which will take place in Rodrigues from July 26th to 30th, promises to be a thrilling and exciting event. Unfortunately, the initial godmother, Bruna Kajiya, had to cancel her participation due to her involvement in a high-level competition whose dates overlap with the festival.
However, the Rodrigues Kitesurfing Association, the initiator of the project, found a worthy replacement in Jalou Langeree, Dutch National and triple world champion of kitesurfing. She will be accompanied by Catharina Edin, the Swedish athlete who has won two bronze medals at the Kitesurfing World Championship.
