Monthly External Merchandise Trade Statistics for March 2023

Balance of Visible Trade showed a deficit of Rs 14,703 million in March 2023, higher by 0.4% compared to the previous month and lower by 10.1% compared to the corresponding month of 2022.

In March 2023, total imports increased by 3.2% compared to February 2023 and decreased by 6.1% compared to March 2022.

In March 2023, total exports increased by 8.0% compared to February 2023 and by 1.1% compared to March 2022.
