Le gouvernement a pris la décision de rallonger la vie des municipalités, Conseil de Village pour encore deux soit jusuq’en 2025 en décidant deprésenter le Local Government (Amendment) Bill au parlement en première lecture le 23 mai 2023.
Cabinet has agreed to the introduction of the Local Government (Amendment) Bill into the National Assembly. The object of the Bill is to amend the Local Government Act to empower the President, acting in accordance with the advice of the Prime Minister, to further extend the life of the entire Municipal City Council and Municipal Town Councils, or entire Village Councils for a period of two years.
