Assemblée Générale Annuelle de la SBM Holdings Ltd

L’Assemblée Générale Annuelle de la SBM Holdings Ltd, réunie le 27 juin 2019 à la Cyber Tour à Ebène, sous la Présidence de M. Kee Chong Li Kwong Wing, a approuvé le bilan financier de l’année se terminant au 31 décembre 2018. Le renouvellement du Conseil d’Administration figurait aussi à l’agenda.

Les directeurs existants sur le Conseil d’Administration, notamment Kee Chong Li Kwong Wing (Chairman), Azim Fakhruddin Currimjee , Medha Gunputh, Maxime Hardy, Vidianand Lutchmeeparsad, Ramprakash Maunthrooa, Roodesh Muttylall, Sharon Ramdenee, Subhas Thecka, et Andrew Bainbridge, ont été reconduits au Conseil par les actionnaires.

Lors de l’Assemblée Générale, Mme Rita Gujadhur, Responsable de la Perfomance Management Team, a fait un exposé sur la performance du Groupe avec des illustrations des principaux indicateurs financiers.

Commentant la performance du Groupe, Andrew Bainbridge a déclaré : ‘The Group had a challenging year in 2018; however, we achieved some real landmarks – SBM Kenya emerging as a second income pillar and SBM India becoming the first foreign-owned Wholly Owned Subsidiary in India. Combined with our overhaul of governance and risk management pertaining to Segment B, the building blocks are now in place for SBM Group to be a strong player around the Indian Ocean Rim and servicing clients across the Indian Ocean. The Group is resilient with strong capital and liquidity positions and our core businesses continue to grow in a satisfactory manner.’
