The United Nations Office of the High Representative for the Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries and Small Island Developing States (UN-OHRLLS) is currently running the Island Voices journalism campaign and in this regard, they have called applications for journalists from Small Island Developing States (SIDS) to apply for participation in the Midterm Review of the SAMOA Pathway which will be held in New York on 27 September 2019 during the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

Kindly note that the SAMOA Pathway articulates the sustainable development agenda for SIDS and is englobed in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN 2030 agenda. The “SAMOA Pathway, A Guide for Island Journalists” was launched as a means to help introduce the SAMOA Pathway to journalists and may be accessed on:

Funding is available to sponsor successful candidates. Additional information on the event is available on the following address: http://unohrlls.org/island-voices/ .
