Avis de fortes houles pour Maurice et Rodrigues valable à partir de 10h00 Dimanche 18 Août 2019 et ce jusqu’à 10h00 Mardi 20 Août 2019.

Des houles de forte puissance de l’ordre de 5 mètres venant du Sud-Ouest influenceront l’état de la mer dans la région de Maurice et Rodrigues à partir de 1000 heures Dimanche 18 août 2019.

Ces houles pourraient déferler sur les plages de l’Ouest et du Sud surtout à l’heure des marées hautes.

Il est fortement conseillé aux pécheurs, plaisanciers et au public en général de ne pas sortir en haute mer ainsi que dans les lagons du Sud et de l’Ouest durant cette période.

High Wave warning for Mauritius and Rodrigues valid from 1000 Hours Sunday 18 August 2019 up to 1000 Hours, Tuesday 20 August 2019.

High energy South-Westerly swells of the order of 5 metres will influence the sea state in the region of Mauritius and Rodrigues as from 1000 Hours Sunday 18 August 2019.

These swells may break on the Western and Southern beaches especially at high tides.

It is strongly advised for fishermen, pleasure-craft and the public not to go out in open seas as well as in the Western and Southern lagoons during this period.
