The Protection and Promotion of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2024
This Act may be cited as the Protection and Promotion of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2024.
The object of this Bill is to provide for the protection and promotion of the rights of persons with disabilities.
The Bill will give effect to the United Nations Convention on the Rights ofPersons with Disabilities and other international instruments to which Mauritius isa party, with a view to eliminating discrimination against persons with disabilities.
